Ruth H. Downing

Nov. 25, 1922 - Feb. 7, 2010

FAIRMOUNT — Ruth H. Downing, 87, of Fairmount, died Feb. 7, 2010.

Survivors include daughter, Linda (Michael) Shock; and two sons, David (Barbara) Downing and Jim Downing.

Her husband, Robert L. Downing, died on Nov. 11, 1945.

Visitation 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, with the service at 6 p.m.

Graveside service 10 a.m. Saturday at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

Contributions to Marion Care & Control or Marion Grant County Humane Society or the Red Key Faith Ministries Church Food Pantry.



Roy Harvey

April 14, 1932 - Jan. 30, 2010

ANDERSON — Roy Donald “Don” Harvey, 77, of Anderson, died Jan. 30, 2010.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Sue Franklin Harvey, and daughter, Tami Eytchison.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Feb. 5 at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.



Kathleen M. Hinshaw

ELWOOD — Kathleen M. Hinshaw, 88, of Elwood, died Feb. 7, 2010, at her residence.

Arrangements are pending at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.



Charlie F. Jones

SULPHUR SPRINGS — Charlie F. Jones, 88, of Sulphur Springs, died Feb. 7, 2010, in Muncie.

Funeral services are pending at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown Chapel.



Emilee D. Lucas

Died Feb. 6, 2010

YORKTOWN — Emilee D. Lucas, 64, Yorktown, died Feb. 6, 2010, at home.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff Lucas, and Matt Lucas (wife, Kathleen Painchaud)

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Lucas.

Service 2 p.m. Friday at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with burial at Strong Cemetery.

Visitation noon to 2 p.m. Friday.

Memorials to Cancer Services of East Central Indiana (Little Red Door).



Mary E. McCoppin

Sept. 14, 1923- Feb. 7, 2010

ANDERSON — Mary E. McCoppin, 86, of Anderson, died Feb. 7, 2010, at Manor Care Health Services after an extended illness.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Ann McCoppin.

Her husband, Paul E. McCoppin, preceded her in death.

Graveside service 10 a.m. Wednesday at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.

Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.



Judy Kay Parker

Dec. 7, 1944 - Feb. 8, 2010

ELWOOD — Judy Kay (Harting) Parker, 65, of Elwood, died Feb. 8, 2010, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Bernie Parker; daughters, Christina (Jerry) Parry, Cherryl (Bill) Hughes and

Cathy (David) Martin; and son, Michael (Amanda) Parker.

Service 2 p.m. Thursday at Dunnichay Funeral Home. Burial at Elwood Cemetery .

Visitation 10 a.m. to service time Thursday.

Memorials to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.



Nancy T. Skillman

ANDERSON — Nancy T. Skillman, 94, of Anderson, died Feb. 7, 2010, at Alexandria Care Center.

Arrangements are pending at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
