Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.
Elwood police arrested Zachary L. Hopper, 23, of the 200 block of East Second Avenue, Alexandria, at 9:03 a.m. Wednesday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony possession of a syringe.
Alexandria police arrested Steven L. Mabbitt, 23, homeless, at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor conversion and Class D felony failure to appear.
Elwood police arrested Zabidiah M. Carson, 19, of the 200 block of East First Street, Alexandria, at 10:07 a.m. Wednesday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony possession of a syringe.
Elwood police arrested Brett Kelly Rigsbee, 26, of the 200 block of East Broadway Street, Alexandria, at 10:52 a.m. Wednesday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor battery and Class D felony possession of syringe.
Madison County police arrested Tresnie L. L. Patterson, 30, of the 2200 block of East Lynn Street, Anderson, at 6:52 p.m. Wednesday. No bond was set for Class D felony violation of probation.
Alexandria police arrested Nicholas A. Phipps, 22, of the 1300 block of West Fourth Street, Alexandria at 6:58 p.m. Wednesday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor OWI.
Frankton police arrested Rocky L. Blevins, 42, of the 5400 block of North County Road 600 West, Frankton, at 8:16 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of Sigler Street, Frankton. Bond was set at $10,500 for civil contempt of court and Class C felony operating after lifetime suspension.
Anderson police arrested Darnell D. Page, 38, homeless, at 8:19 p.m. Wednesday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor court commitment.
Madison County police arrested Johnathon E. Thompson, 38, of the 1200 block of Alexandria, at 10:31 p.m. Wednesday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy.
Madison County police arrested Cameron L. Campbell, 20, of the 11100 block of North County Road 300 East, Alexandria, at 5:56 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor court commitment.
Ingalls police arrested Shane B. Downey, 37, of the 7100 block of South County Road 400 East, Markleville, at 11:55 a.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony habitual traffic offender.
Anderson police arrested Eric B. Sterling, 44, of the 600 block of Louise Street, Anderson, at 12:41 p.m. Thursday in the intersection of 22nd Street and Arrow Avenue. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor OWI.
