Arrest Log: Sept. 6

ANDERSON, Ind. — Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Saturday and Sunday, based on Madison County Jail records.



Anderson police arrested Brandon L. Brooks, 20, of the 700 block of West 17th Street, Anderson, at 3 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Nichol. Bond was set at $5,000 on a charge of Class D felony theft.

Ingalls police arrested Rickey D. Hickey, 44, of the 8800 block of West Old Ford Road, Fortville, at 4:17 p.m. Sunday on Myrenia. Bond was set at $5,000 on charges of Class D felony obstruction of justice and Class A misdemeanor false informing.

Anderson police arrested Walter J. Jordan, 68, of the 4300 block of Brown Street, Anderson, at 2:30 a.m. Sunday at his home. Bond was set at $5,000 on charges of Class D felony strangulation and Class D misdemeanor battery.

Anderson police arrested Landon P. Hill, 27, of the 1700 block of Redfern Way, Anderson, at 4:10 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of West 22nd. Bond was set at $20,000 on charges of Class B felony possession of cocaine, Class C felony possession of a controlled substance and Class A misdemeanors carrying a handgun without a license, possession of marijuana, resisting law enforcement and false informing.

Anderson police arrested Brian K. Smith, 53, of the 4600 block of Clark Street, Anderson, at 11 a.m. Sunday in his home. He was released on $4,000 bond on a charge of Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement.

Madison County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Marie L. Valverde, 39, of the 10000 block of Gambril Drive, Manassas, Va., at 10:17 p.m. Saturday. She was released on $10,000 bond on charges of Class A misdemeanors operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving while suspended.
