Ockomon to present ‘State of the City’ address
ANDERSON — The Madison County Historical Society will host Anderson Mayor Kris Ockomon at the History Center, 11 W. 11th St., at 7 p.m. on Monday.
Ockomon will give the group an update on the city and its expenses with his “State of the City” address. The public is welcome to come for his talk and to ask questions later. There is no charge.
Parking is available on the street and after 5 p.m. in the parking lot across 11th Street.
Pulmonary function testing offered
MUNCIE — Ball State University’s Clinical Exercise Physiology Program is offering pulmonary function testing at a reduced fee from March 22-26. Cost is $10.
Pulmonary function testing is a tool used to screen for or monitor obstructive and/or restrictive lung diseases. The testing is beneficial to all individuals, but is particularly recommended for: smokers or ex-smokers; those with a history of asthma or chronic allergies; or those exposed to occupational dusts and chemicals.

Library opens at 1 p.m. Friday
ANDERSON — The Anderson Public Library will not open until 1 p.m. Friday due to staff development meeting, according to Paula Balensiefer, community relations manager.
