‘Soul’d Out’ to be in concert March 28
ANDERSON — The Soul’d Out Quartet will be in concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at the Parkview Church of the Nazarene, 911 S. Rangeline Road.
Based in Georgetown, Ohio, the group is a full-time ministry touring 25 states each year, performing in churches and theaters as well as the main stage at the National Quartet Convention.

‘Passover service to be recreated
ANDERSON — Jesus’ Last Supper was actually a Jewish Passover. Amer Olson of Jews for Jesus will re-create the traditional Passover service and explain how it foreshadowed Jesus’ death and resurrection in a presentation called “Christ in the Passover” at East Side Church of God at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 1.
Olson will set a table with items traditionally used at the Passover meal and detail their spiritual significance. He will also explain the connection between the events of the first Passover in Egypt and the redemption that Jesus accomplished, as well as the deep bond between the ancient Passover feast and the Christian communion celebration today.
Following the presentation, the Rev. Kerry Robinson, Senior Pastor of East Side Church of God, will lead a service of communion and foot washing.

‘Glad Tidings has Living Lord’s Supper
ANDERSON — Glad Tidings Assembly of God at 815 E. School St. will portray the Living Lord’s Supper at 10:30 a.m. service, Sunday, March 21.
The cast this year includes Kenny Rushing as Jesus. The disciples are portrayed by Mike Biggs as James the Less; Jeffery Wilcox as Matthew; Mike Shelton as Andrew; Tom Naselroad as James; Dallas Jones as Simon; Chris Rodgers as Judas; Jeff Walker as Nathaniel; Trevor Dailey as Thomas; Steven Strole as John; Kenny McPhearson as Philip; Walter Keith as Thaddeus, and Vaughn Walker as Peter. Brad Eastes is the narrator.
The presentation feature songs by the GT-Ladies Choral under the direction of Pastor Rob McIllwain.

‘Chesterfield Christian sets Holy Week
CHESTERFIELD — Chesterfield Christian Church, 207 E. Plum St., will host many events during Holy Week. Palm Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m. will begin with a procession of palm leaves. Special music will be provided by the Chancel Choir. Pastor Ned Clark will deliver the Palm Sunday message. April 1 is Maundy Thursday and there will be a Seder Meal and drama of the Passover meal at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Iraq veteran displaced after apartment fire
