ELKHORN, Neb. — Former Elwood resident Norman H. Aldridge, 71, Elkhorn, died Aug. 24, 2009, in Elkhorn.
He served with the U.S. Army from 1961-1963.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Nance Aldridge; and three sons, Derek Aldridge, Clinton (Mindy) Aldridge and Keith Aldridge.
Service 11 a.m. Saturday at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood. Burial in Sunset Memorial Park, Elwood.
Visitation 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Biddle Sr.

ALEXANDRIA — Mark A. Jones, 52, Alexandria, died Aug. 26, 2009, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.
He was retired from the U.S. Air Force as a master sergeant serving in Desert Storm.
Survivors include his wife, Rosann (Sutton) Lambert Jones; son, Greg (Connie) Jones; daughter, Mary (Andrew LeMarte) Jones; and two stepsons, Eric Lambert and Chris (Tara Turner) Lambert.
Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elwood. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Elwood.

SPICELAND — Jerry W. Nicholas, 63, of Spiceland, died unexpectedly Aug. 26, 2009, at his residence.
He served in the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Nicholas; daughter, Michelle (fiancé, Donal Matheny) of Pendleton; son, Larry (partner, Chris Jenkins) Nicholas; stepdaughter, Brandi Carnes; and two stepsons, Matthew Carnes and Alex Carnes.
