Following are events scheduled for today at the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis:
State Fair Band Day:
Starting with Frankton High School, 12 area marching bands will be among the 50 competitors today. The Band Day schedule is as follows:

Featured exhibits
• Colts in Motion — Aug. 17 is “Blue Friday” at the fair. The Super Bowl champs will have their “Colts in Motion” traveling exhibit on hand, complete with interactive games, highlight videos and memorabilia. Fans can have their photos taken with the Lombardi Trophy and meet players, cheerleaders and the team mascot “Blue.” The exhibit will be in the lot just east of the Grandstand.
• “Indiana Curiosities: A Walk Thru the Wacky Side of Hoosier Life” — The exhibit will feature quirky people, places, collections and such from different regions of the state. Hand-outs marking the curiosities’ statewide locations will be available for fair guests to take home and seek out these odd items for themselves.
• Free International Circus Hall of Fame parade — The International Circus Hall of Fame of Peru leads a special one-day only parade of circus animals and entertainers down Biofuels Main Street at 3 p.m. Monday.
• Comcast presents Kachunga & the Alligator — This fun and informative show entertains fairgoers for all 12 days of the fair to educate people about the American alligator. The show will be in the Riley Fun Park three times a day.
• The Pork Chop Revue featuring Oink the Singing Pig — Oink may be the featured attraction, but the rest of this pack of pigs is just as entertaining. “Cousin Grumpy” also gets this group of very smart swine to dance, leap hurdles, roll barrels and perform other tricks. The event is located in Riley Fun Park and is shown three times daily.
• “Giants of the Prairie” Rare Historic Tractor Display — Three extremely rare tractors will be on display for the duration of the fair.
