Noethtich, Ivey invited to Top 60 Workout

Two Madison County girls basketball players have been selected to participate in Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 Senior Girls Workout, according to a release from the magazine.

Anderson’s LaKeisha Noethtich and Highland’s Raven Ivey will participate in Top 60 workouts Monday at Marian College, Indianapolis. Two separate workouts will take place, with 28 from northern and southern Indiana working out from 1 to 3 p.m., and 32 girls from central Indiana working out from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Noethtich averaged 14.0 points, 8.8 rebounds and four offensive rebounds per game for the sectional champion Tribe. She also shot 31 percent from 3-point range.

Ivey averaged 20.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game for the Scots, who finished 9-12. She was the Madison County area’s only player to score more than 400 points this season.

Ivey and Noethtich both scored more than 1,000 career points.

The workout, formerly the Top 40 workout, is open to the public. Admission is $6.
