6:25 a.m.: Greeting from Justin Schneider

Good morning.

It’s 6:25 a.m. and the staff at The Herald Bulletin are getting down to work. We will pursue news throughout the day and will have frequent updates here on our Web site.

Today, local diver Mary Beth Dunnichay competes in a selection camp, hoping to join the U.S. Olympic team in Beijing. Plus, Second Harvest Food Bank of Centrl Indiana will impose a delivery fee beginning Aug. 1, threatening the budgets of Madison County agencies.

Look for those stories and more right here and in the Thursday print edition of The Herald Bulletin.

We want to hear what you think. Leave your reader comments online or feel free to contact us with your news tip at (765) 640-4800 or via e-mail (newsrom@heraldbulletin.com).

Check back often as we will continuously update this Web site with the latest local, statewid and national breaking news.

—Justin Schneider, online reporter/manager
