• Anderson police arrested Julie A. Filippini, 40, of the 6500 block of Robbins Road in Portage, at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of East 64th Street on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor. There is no bond.
• Elwood police arrested Aaron L. Rogers, 23, of the 2100 block of North D Street in Elwood, at 11:34 p.m. Friday on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $3,000.
• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jerry H. Guffey, 52, of the 900 block of South B Street in Elwood, at 4:45 a.m. Friday at the Madison County Sheriff’s Department on suspicion of murder, a Class A felony. Bond is $115,000.
• Anderson police arrested Michelle M. Christman, 41, of the 6500 block of Robbins Road, Portage, at 1:35 a.m. Saturday at the Hampton Inn in Anderson on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor. There is no bond.
• Anderson police arrested Antonio C. McMullen, 21, of the 1900 block of Nichol Avenue, Anderson, at 10:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 14th and Lincoln streets, Anderson, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony, and possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. There is no bond.
• Anderson police arrested Tyler A. Campbell, 20, of the 1900 block of Norwood Place, Anderson, at 10:20 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 14th and Lincoln streets, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony. There is no bond.
• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Darrin E. Emerton, 36, of the 600 block of Hampton Lane, Anderson, at 8:24 a.m. Friday in the 2100 block of County Road 300 East on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.
• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Matthew A. Hansing, 27, of the 700 block of West 21st Street, Anderson, at 4:25 p.m. Friday at Madison County Sheriff’s Department on suspicion of theft, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.
• Anderson police arrested Dustin P. Cotton, 21, of the 2600 block of Halford Street, Anderson, at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the intersection of 19th and Main streets, on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor, and probation violation. There is no bond.
