Aug. 6: Arrest Log

• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jordan P. Upton, 19, of the 2800 block of Columbus Avenue, Anderson, at 2:51 a.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Catalina Drive on suspicion of resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor, and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. He is being held without bond.

• Elwood police arrested Scott G. Hunter, 51, of the 1800 block of South J Street, Elwood, at 1:01 a.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of South A Street on suspicion of public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor, and intimidation, a Class C felony. Bond is $10,000.

• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Dallas M. Woods, 21, of the 2800 block of Catalina Drive, Anderson, at 2:54 a.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Catalina on suspicion of resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.

• Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Marsha M. Turner, 18, of the 8400 block of South 75 East, Pendleton, at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the 8400 block of South 75 East on suspicion of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor, and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond is $10,000.

• Anderson police arrested Janet A. Johnson, 46, of the 2900 block of Central Avenue, Anderson, at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of Central on suspicion of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.

• Anderson police arrested Robert D. Smoots, 29, of the 1300 block of Louise Street, Anderson, at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of Fulton Street on suspicion of possession of cocaine, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.

• Anderson police arrested Eric M. Johnson, 45, of the 2900 block of Central Avenue, Anderson, at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of Central on suspicion of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been released to Madison County Community Corrections.

• Anderson police arrested Chera N. Gibson, 18, of the 2500 block of Central Avenue, Anderson, at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 3000 block of Meridian Street on suspicion of conversion, a Class A misdemeanor. She has since been released.

• Chesterfield police arrested Robert M. Symmes, 64, of the 6100 block of Fox Chase, Pendleton, at 3:52 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of East Main Street on suspicion of four counts of theft, a Class D felony; corrupt business influence, a Class C felony; and forgery, a Class C felony. He has since been released.

• Anderson police arrested Roger E. Bertram, 32, of the 700 block of Federal Drive, Anderson, at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Federal Drive on suspicion of false informing, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been released.
