Anderson police were at the scene of a shooting in the 700 block of West 53rd Street late Sunday night.
Just before 11 p.m. police were dispatched after reports of gunshots outside a recreation facility, Tilt-N-Cue. According to dispatch reports, one person was taken to an Anderson hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach, and was being transferred to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis at presstime. Police were in pursuit of suspects. A police canine bit one suspect who was being taken to Saint John’s Medical Center.
