Glispie, 21, of the 1300 block of Mennifee Street, Anderson, at 2:12 a.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of East 38th Street on suspicion of carrying a handgun without a license, a Class A misdemeanor, and criminal recklessness, a Class D felony. He is being held without bond.
— Anderson police arrested Jesus Zamora, 31, of the 2700 block of Pitt Street, Anderson, at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 3200 block of Columbus Avenue on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor, operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.
— Edgewood police arrested Christina Jo Castor, 39, of the 100 block of Gregory Drive, Anderson, at 6:48 p.m. Tuesday at the Edgewood Town Court on suspicion of check deception, a Class A misdemeanor, and battery, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond is $9,000.
— Anderson police arrested Anthony J. Strecker, 28, of the 1200 block of West 11th Street, Anderson, at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of West 11th on suspicion of domestic battery, a Class D felony. Bond is $5,000.
— Anderson police arrested Daryl L. Fuller, 39, of the 1500 block of Sheridan Street, Anderson, at 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of 22nd Street and Madison Avenue on suspicion of auto theft, a Class D felony. He is being held without bond.
— Elwood police arrested Tamara L. Kinser, 42, of the 100 block of West North A Street, Elwood, at 12:33 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of West North A on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor; resisting law enforcement, a Class A misdemeanor; possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor; leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, a Class A misdemeanor; and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. She has since been released.
— Anderson police arrested David L. Phillips II, 26, of the 2100 block of Jefferson Street, Anderson, at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Jefferson on suspicion of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been transferred to Madison County Community Corrections.
— Anderson police arrested Gary A. Frazee, 34, of the 2400 block of Delaware Street, Anderson, at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Scatterfield Road on suspicion of conversion, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been transferred to Madison County Community Corrections.
— Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ashley B. Cole, 21, of the 3000 block of North 200 West, Anderson, at 9:45 p.m. Monday along Broadway on suspicion of battery, a Class A misdemeanor. She has since been released.
— Anderson police arrested Troy L. Nantroup, 22, of the 2700 block of East Fifth Street, Anderson, at 8:15 p.m. Monday in the 2300 block of Charles Street on suspicion of conversion, a Class A misdemeanor. He has since been released to Madison County Community Corrections.

Memorial Day weekend took a tragic turn Saturday evening as an Anderson man visiting Monroe Reservoir died. Three other Anderson men were arrested later that day following the death of Matthew Hosier, 29.

Handicapped murder convict alleges prison discrimination
Since October 2006, Donald Lock has been confined to a wheel chair because of a degenerative bone disease. He has spent time at correctional facilities throughout the state, but it wasn’t until he was transferred to Pendleton earlier this year that he said he felt his disability was ignored.
