Man injured in single-car wreck


Zachary Allford, 18, Ingalls, driving a 1993 Ford truck, was traveling west on Indiana 38 at 2 a.m. Tuesday when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel, veered off road on north side and struck fence and vehicle rolled on its side, according to Madison County Sheriff Ron Richardson.

Alford was able to locate his cell phone and call 911. He was alert and conscious when emrgency personnel arrivedl. Adams Township Ambulance transported him to Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield with complaint of pain in the neck.
