United Way office will be closed today
ANDERSON — The United Way of Madison County office — 1201 E. 5th Street, Suite 1019, Anderson — will be closed today in observance of Independence Day.
Regular hours of 8 a.m. -5 p.m. will resume Monday.
Parade festivities scheduled for tonight
ANDERSON — The Midnight Parade will begin at midnight tonight in downtown Anderson.
The parade will begin at 7th and Main streets, proceed along Main to 13th Street, and go north along Jackson from 13th to about 8th Street.

The Pre-Jam at Anderson Town Center will begin at 9 o’clock tonight with live music, food and fun before the Midnight Parade.

Bridges to open new office in Muncie
MUNCIE — Bridges of Indiana will open its new office, at 1200 S. Tillotson Overpass, on Aug. 3.
The agency currently has offices in Evansville, Vincennes, Terre Haute and Indianapolis.
Bridges of Indiana is a human service agency that provides services throughout the state for the aging population and people with disabilities.
