Arrest log: July 10

ANDERSON, Ind. — This is the arrest log in the Saturday edition of The Herald Bulletin.

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Friday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County Prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

 Indiana State police arrested Anthony L. Hopgood, 32, of the 1300 block of West Ninth Street, Anderson, at 3:45 p.m. Friday at the Cap’t D’s on Broadway. No bond was set on charges of Class D felony auto theft; receiving stolen auto parts.

 Anderson police arrested Augusta L. Beattle, 55, of the 2900 block of Pearl Street, Anderson, at 3:20 p.m. Friday at the Anderson City Building. Bond was set for $20,000 on charges of three counts of Class B felony dealing in a schedule I, II or III controlled substance.

 Indiana State troopers arrested LaShaunta V. Taylor, 27, of the 5000 block of West 30th Street, Anderson, at 2:23 p.m. Friday at an unspecified facility. Bond was set for $20,000 on charges of Class D felonies trafficking with an inmate, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

 Anderson police arrested Tremel D. Black, 24, of the 500 block of West 53rd Street, Anderson, at 1:15 p.m. Friday at Walmart. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor conversion.

 Anderson police arrested Tony L. Thompson, 25, of the 3000 block of Sherman Street, Anderson, at 9:45 a.m. Friday at 620 Sun Valley Drive. Bond was set for $35,000 on charges of five counts of dealing in cocaine, three as Class B felonies and two as Class A felonies.

 Alexandria police arrested Phillip S. Mabbitt, 24, of the 1900 block of East 1250 North, Alexandria, at 12:10 a.m. Friday at Canal and Washington streets. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class D felony intimidation.
