ELWOOD — Betty M. (Carpenter) Allen, 71, Elwood, died Oct. 29, 2009, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, after an extended illness.
She is survived by her two daughters, Connie (Patrick) Kendall and Crista (Frank) Pineau.
Her husband, Lee Allen Jr., preceded her in death.
Service 2 p.m. Monday at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood. Burial in Elwood City Cemetery
Visitation noon to 2 p.m. Monday.

Surviving her are her children, Nancy (Charlie) Burk and Leslie (Neal) Whetsel.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, G. Leslie Shull; and second husband, R. Mark Whetsel.
Service 10 a.m. Monday at Erlewein Mortuary, Fortville. Burial in Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
