Fall Bazaar set for Saturday

MIDDLETOWN — The Christian Women’s Fellowship of the Sixth Street Christian Church will holding its annual Fall Bazaar on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Items for sale include crafts, candy, baked goods, Colts items, jewelry, shoes, pickles, noodles and dish cloths. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Carry-outs are available. The church is at 146 N. Sixth St. in Middletown.

Elvis tribute artist in concert

ANDERSON — World Champion Elvis Tribute Artist Chris T. Young will be in concert on Saturday at the Elks Lodge 209, 1803 Broadway.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m. The show is open to the public.

Church youth hosting breakfast

ANDERSON — An all-you-can-eat biscuits and gravy breakfast will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Main Street Church of God, 4211 S. Main St., Anderson.

The cost is $5 per person. All proceeds benefit the 2010 International Youth Convention Trip to Orlando, Fla.

Henry County wraps up concert season

NEW CASTLE — The Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra will be the final concert of the Henry County Concert Series 2009 season.

The concert will be at Bundy Auditorium on Friday at 7 p.m.; the doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5 each.

Children under 5 attend free.

The Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra is Indiana’s first permanent repertory Big Band jazz ensemble dedicated to serving the Central Indiana community at large.

Dan’s Fish coming to First Presbyterian

ANDERSON — First Presbyterian Church, 230 W. Ninth St., will host a Dan’s Fish Fry on Friday from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

All-you-can-eat fish and chicken will be provided along with a variety of sides and pies.

The cost is $8.50 for adults, children 6-10 are $5.00, and 5 and under are free.

Drive-through and carry-out are also available.

Holiday Dance set for Nov. 24

ANDERSON — Celebrities and instructors for 2010 Dancing Like the Stars will be announced on Nov. 24 at The Hardacre Ballroom at The Paramount Theater during The Holiday Ballroom Dance.

The dance starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $12 per person.

Rog and Amy Greenwalt will be performing; Holly Renz and Ryan Hutchins will be performing Salsa, with holiday music provided by Rog Greenwalt.

Tickets are available at the Paramount Box Office. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The Dancing Like the Stars event will be Jan. 3.

Dinner, auction set at Wesley Free Methodist

ANDERSON — Wesley Free Methodist Church, 3017 W. Eighth St., will host a chili dinner and auction on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

The Missions Committee will be serving homemade chili and hot dogs.

An auction of items from local merchants and bakers will begin at 5:30 p.m.

African-made jewelry and items from Asia and South America will also be for sale.
