ANDERSON – Madison County Sheriff Ron Richardson said water was cut off at the Madison County Jail for an hour Saturday for planned maintenance.
Although he wasn’t sure what time the water had been cut off, Richardson said preparations were made beforehand. The fire department was on alert and there were not any problems during the Anderson City Utilities Company maintenance.
“The water is on and one the pressure is back up, they’ll have water,” he said.
The water company could not be reached Saturday night for details about the maintenance.
