Weather: Showers in the forecast today

Scattered rain, snow showers on Thanksgiving

Today is a busy travel day and there are showers in the forecast. Scattered showers and highs near 50 degrees are expected. The other travel trouble spots across the country include the northeast and Florida, with clouds and rain chances. Colder air arrives tonight. As temperatures fall to near freezing, watch for scattered showers to mix with a few snow showers. Scattered rain and snow showers are also in the forecast for Thanksgiving. A few flurries will linger into early Friday and it will be chilly, with highs in the lower 40s.
