Her husband, Thomas A. Carpenter, died in 1991.

WARSAW — Former Elwood resident David Lee Coubert, 59, of Warsaw, died Dec. 14, 2009, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
He served with the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Ann (Richwine) Coubert; and parents, Ann Hardebeck and Jim Hardebeck.
Service 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson St., Elwood.
Visitation 2 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

ELWOOD — Victor Dee Davis, 73, Elwood, died Dec. 14, 2009, at Community Parkview Care Center after an extended illness.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn (Steve) Deckard; and a son, Daniel (Bonnie) Davis.
Service 7 p.m. Friday at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home. Cremation will take place with burial at a later date.
Visitation 2 to 7 p.m. Friday.

NORTH WEBSTER — Former Alexandria resident Harriett J. Durzinsky, 81, North Webster, died Dec. 14, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, after a sudden illness.

Phyllis J. Longerbone

ELWOOD — Phyllis Jean Longerbone, 84, Elwood, died Dec. 14, 2009, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Robert O. Longerbone; two sons, Terry (Susan) Floyd and Tony Allan (Laura) Longerbone; and daughter, Tanna Sue Longerbone.
No services will be conducted.
Visitation 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

SUMMITVILLE — Alexina W. “Xena” (Trousdale) Mullen, 99, Summitville, died Dec. 14, 2009, at Summit Convalescent Center after an extended illness.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn (Don) Stylinsky and Fran Huebner; and a son, William (Carol) Mullen.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

DALEVILLE — Former Daleville resident Thelma Underwood died Dec. 14, 2009, in Tennessee.

Sylvia Waldrop
Sept. 6, 1947 - Dec. 11, 2009
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Former Anderson-Elwood resident Sylvia “Kay” (Wesley) Waldrop, 62, died Dec. 11, 2009, after being struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing the street.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Waldrop.
A memorial service will be held in Jacksonville on Saturday. Interment of ashes will occur at a later date in Elwood City Cemetery.
