ANDERSON, Ind. — Habitat for Humanity seeks homeowners

ANDERSON — Habitat for Humanity representatives will give out applications and provide information about the program from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday and again from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Redbud Room of the Anderson Public Library.

Habitat volunteers will provide information on requirements, home locations, zero interest loans, and assist with the application process. Additional information is available by calling the Habitat office at 649-4260.



POW/MIA program Friday

ANDERSON — The Men’s Auxiliary of the VFW Post 266, 3210 Columbus Ave., will host a rib dinner featuring music by Vietnam veteran Ernie. He will present “the missing man table” program at 8 p.m. in honor of all POW/MIA’s from all branches of the service and all wars.

Dinner is from 4:30 to 8 p.m. and Ernie will entertain from 7 to 10 p.m.



Coats to visit POET plant

ALEXANDRIA — Dan Coats, Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, will visit POET Biorefining in Alexandria on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

The facility is located at 13179 N. County Road 100 East.
