Arrest Log: Sept. 5

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Friday and Saturday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County Prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

  • Anderson police arrested Sandra S. Benematti, 38, New Castle, at 11:10 a.m. Saturday at 20th Street and Central Avenue. Bond was set at $20,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended.
  • Alexandria police arrested Joshua A. Roberts, 22, of the 300 block of West Berry Street, Alexandria, at 4:20 a.m. Saturday at her home. Bond was set at $3,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and a Class C misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  • Frankton police arrested Bobbie L. Shoemaker, 31, of the 200 block of Woodworth Avenue, Frankton, at 5 a.m. Saturday at her home. Bond was set at $5,000 on Class D felony charges of neglect of a dependent and battery and a Class A misdemeanor charge of resisting law enforcement.
  • Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Eric M. Jackson, 21, of Dennis Drive, Markleville, at 2:32 a.m. Saturday at 67th Street and County Road 100 West. Bond was set at $20,000 on a Class D felony charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  • Indiana State Police arrested Brittney L. Clark, 19, of the 1700 block of Nelle Street, Anderson, at 3:30 a.m. Saturday at 53rd Street and Arbor Drive. Bond was set at $5,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and a Class C misdemeanor charge of illegal possession, consumption or transport of alcohol.
  • Edgewood police arrested Gardner R. Welch, 20, of the 3000 block of West 11th Street, at 2:01 a.m. Saturday.   He was released on a Class A misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  • Indiana State Police  arrested Nathan T. Beer, 21 of the 700 block of High Street, Anderson, at 2:55 a.m. Saturday in the 4500 block of Scatterfield Road. He was released on a Class A misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  • Chesterfield police  arrested James M. Boone. 21, of the 2500 block of Sunset Boulevard, Anderson, at 3:36 a.m. Saturday at Indiana 32 and County Road 500 East. He was released on a Class A misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
