Arrest Log: Aug. 29

ANDERSON, Ind. — Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County Prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

  • Elwood police arrested Arthur W. Minniear, 42, of the 1200 block of North Anderson Street, Elwood, at 5:10 p.m. Friday at home. Bond was set for $35,000 on charges of Class A felonies child molesting (two counts), criminal confinement, child solicitation and aiding, inducing or causing an offense (two counts).
  • Anderson police arrested Kristal D. Smart, 24, of the 1900 block of Main Street, Elwood, at 5:25 a.m. Friday at Wal-Mart. Bond was set for $5,000 on a charge of Class A misdemeanor conversion.
  • Anderson police arrested Jeffrey D. Whittenburg, 43, of the 2800 block of Pitt Street, Anderson, at 7:19 p.m. Thursday at 6610 Scatterfield. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class D felony theft and Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement.
  • Indiana State troopers arrested Willie D. Wesby, 34, of the 2300 block of West 15th Street, Anderson, at 6 a.m. Friday. Bond was set for $5,000 on a charge of Class D felony operating a vehicle as an habitual traffic violator.
  • Anderson police arrested Brandon E. Taliaferro, 19, of the 300 block of West Fifth Street, Anderson, at 2:10 a.m. Friday at 12th and Jackson streets. Bond was set for $4,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and Class B misdemeanor public intoxication.
  • Alexandria police arrested Jack L. Welsh III, 19, of the 1000 block of West Third Street, Alexandria, at 2:40 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of South Wayne Street. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
  • Anderson police arrested Brian E. Heard, 36, of the 2000 block of West 18th Street, Anderson, at 8:20 p.m. Thursday in the 2800 block of Nichol Avenue. Bond was set for $5,000 on a charge of Class D felony theft.
  • Madison County deputies arrested Carl H. Chambers, 26, of the 2300 block of Fairlawn Way, Anderson, at 4:39 a.m. Friday at 18th Street and Ohio Avenue. He was released on a $5,000 bond for a charge of Class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  • Madison County deputies arrested Lindsay J. Noble, 25, of the 500 block of Locust Street, Middletown, at 1:48 a.m. Friday at 53rd and Arbor streets. She was released on a $10,000 bond for charges of Class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
  • Edgewood police arrested Raymond A. Waymire Jr., 35, of the 2100 block of Crystal Street, Anderson, at 8:25 p.m. Friday at West 25th Street. No bond was set for a charge of Class D felony operating a vehicle as an habitual traffic violator.
  • Anderson police arrested Israel L. Anderson, 29, of the 200 block of Plum Street, Anderson, at 7:20 p.m. Friday at his home. No bond was set on a charge of Class A misdemeanor domestic battery.
  • Anderson police arrested James E. Martin Jr., 46, of the 1800 block of East Eighth Street, Anderson, at the Swifty Oil at 605 East Eighth Street. Bond was set for $5,000 on a charge of Class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  • Anderson police arrested Sarena G. White, 31, of the 800 block of Alhambra Drive, Anderson, at 7:50 p.m. Friday at 14th and Main streets. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class D felony possession of a controlled substance (three counts), Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana and Class B misdemeanor public intoxication.
  • Anderson police arrested Jeremy P. Hudson, 28, of the 600 block of Alexandria Pike, Anderson, at 12:19 a.m. Saturday at his home. He was released on a $4,000 bond for a charge of Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement.
  • Anderson police arrested Shellie A. Haneline, 46, of the 1400 block of Chester Street, Anderson, at 3:18 a.m. Saturday at 14th and Jackson streets. She was released on a $20,000 bond for charges of Class B felony possession of marijuana, Class D felony operating a vehicle as an habitual traffic violator and Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
  • Anderson police arrested Christopher S. Huston, 26, of the 1200 block of West Ninth Street, Anderson, at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Anderson Police Department. He was released on a $5,000 bond for a charge of Class D felony theft.
