ANDERSON, Ind. —
A Seals ambulance en route to Central Indiana Orthopedic Center slammed into another vehicle at the intersection of 23rd and Main streets Monday morning.
According to Anderson police, Franci I. Taylor, 25, of Indianapolis, was westbound on 23rd Street about 9:40 a.m. and had a green light at the intersection.
Although Taylor noticed that a car had not moved on the green light, he checked and moved into the intersection. That’s when the ambulance, which was driving with its lights and sirens, hit the Wrangler on the passenger side. The ambulance was traveling about 30 miles per hour at the time, police said.
The ambulance, a 2011 Ford, was operated by Mathew Rambo, police said. He was accompanied by Daniel McRoberts, who was treated for minor injuries at Saint John’s Medical Center and released.
