INDIANAPOLIS —
AAA Hoosier Motor Club has launched a new program that will allow AAA members to temporarily borrow child safety seats from their nearest Club service center.
The complimentary service is in addition to the Club’s ongoing car seat inspection and installation program.
“For those who have friends or family members with children coming in for a visit, this will be a great alternative to having to actually purchase a new car seat for short-term use,” said Greg Seiter, public affairs manager for AAA Hoosier Motor Club. “Best of all, they’ll have the comfort of knowing the seat was installed by a certified car seat technician.”
The program will allow members to borrow a safety seat for up to two weeks.
All seats must be returned in “like new” condition to the same office they were initially borrowed from.
Once a given seat has been returned, it will be cleaned and sanitized prior to being made available to another AAA member.
