Healthy Family Home Saturday
ANDERSON — The YMCA Activate America Healthy Family Home Event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mounds Mall. Events will include soccer skills, a family obstacle course, dodgeball and a tennis activity.
A pre-school expo is also planned during this time and will include activities and information for parents and children.
Eagles Lodge to host bingo twice weekly
ANDERSON — The Eagles Lodge 174, 1315 Meridian St., will begin hosting bingo twice a week starting Saturday.
Saturday hours for bingo will be games at 1:15 p.m.; the doors open at noon. At 4 p.m. Mondays, the doors will open with bingo set for 5:15 p.m. For more information, call 644-9633.
Tenderloin dinner set for Saturday
FRANKTON — The Frankton First United Methodist Church, Eighth and Sigler streets, will serve a hand-breaded tenderloin dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
The menu will include tenderloin, baked potato, green beans, dessert and drink for $8 for adults and $4 for children under the age of 13. Carryouts will be available.
Proceeds go to the church’s Christian outreach and support of upcoming mission trips.
Faith, Family Tour coming at Emens
MUNCIE — Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this morning for the Faith, Family & Country Tour coming to Emens on Saturday, May 1, at 6 p.m.
Performers for the evening will include Bryan White, Buddy Jewell, Andy Griggs, Tommy Brandt, Hwy 7, Renee Spencer and Barry McGee. Artists will perform popular hits, new material and personal favorites in intimate acoustic sets.
A portion of all ticket proceeds will be given to the Make a Wish Foundation.

Men’s fellowship breakfast Saturday
MARKLEVILLE — The Christian Men’s Fellowship East Christian Church, Markleville will have its monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. in the church basement. The menu includes French toast, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee. A freewill offering will be accepted.
The church is located at 124 E. Main St., Markleville, and is handicap-accessible.
Middletown Scouts to hold dinner
MIDDLETOWN — Boy Scout Troop 279 in Middletown will hold a chicken noodle dinner on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Middletown Community Building in Dietrich Park.
Dinner is $6, and desserts will be available.
Sulphur Springs Christian Church is sponsoring “Rockin’ for Haiti” concert with a dozen bands performing at Shenandoah High School from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday. All proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army for Haiti.
AHS Post Prom meeting scheduled
ANDERSON — Any interested parents are urged to attend a Post Prom meeting for Anderson High School on Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the school library.
Anderson’s Prom will be held May 8 this year at the Paramount, with Post Prom taking place at Cooper’s Sport Bowl.
