ANDERSON — Art Stitchery will be the topic when Sue Goffinett speaks to The Anderson Center for the Arts Women’s League at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the center, 32 W. 10th St.
Kindergarten round-up March 30
FRANKTON — Frankton Elementary School will hold kindergarten and preschool round-up from noon to 7 p.m. on March 30. Parents will need to bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency. Children must be 4 years old by Aug. 1 to enroll in preschool and 5 years old by Aug. 1 to enroll in kindergarten.
Bunnies, bonnets parading in Farmland
FARMLAND — Historic Farmland USA will present “Bunnies & Bonnets,” an Easter parade and party at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3. The event will take place at The Farmland Cultural Center, 103 N. Main St., and will include an Easter Parade and many children’s activities. Tickets are $5 and must be purchased in advance. A maximum of 60 tickets will be sold. Show choir reunion held on July 23
PENDLETON — A “Highland Singers and Starliters Reunion” for those who performed, supported or are guests of the elite show choirs under the direction of Deborah Hilderbrand-Andis will be held on July 23.
Dinner and dancing will be at Blu Falls Arts and Events Center, 8820 Ind. 9, Pendleton. The cost is $40 per person or $75 per couple. RSVP as soon as possible, as there are a limited number of reservations. No children please.

Dinner dance April 24 at Highland
ANDERSON — The Highland High School band department will present its 10th annual “Music of the Big Bands, A Dinner Dance” on Saturday, April 24, in the high school cafeteria.
The event is open to the public and will feature dinner and dancing. Music will be provided by the Highland Blues Band, Jazz Lab Band and Jazz Ensemble.
The event will begin with a social gathering at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. and music and dancing from 8 to 10 p.m. Dinner will be provided by Dick Trott’s Class Act Catering.
Dinner and dance tickets are $17.50. Discount tickets available only to HHS students are $15. Dance only tickets are $6. Dress is semi-formal.

New book sale set for Saint John’s
ANDERSON — Saint John’s Victoria Guild is sponsoring a “Books are Fun” book fair Tuesday, and Wednesday, in the back half of the Saint John’s Medical Center Dining Room from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale is open to the public.
One can purchase premium quality, best-selling hardcover books and save up to 70 percent off retail prices.
The selection includes children’s books, New York Times best sellers, education/reference books, children’s and adult’s general interest books and popular cookbooks. Also available will be games, music CDs, bath and body packages, toys and puzzles. Proceeds from all Victoria Guild projects return to Saint John’s as pledges and gifts for new equipment.
