Longaberger basket bingo Thursday
The Madison County Women's Democrat Club will sponsor a Longaberger Basket Bingo at the National Guard Armory on Thursday.
Doors open at 5:15 p.m., and games start at 6 p.m. Cost is $15 for 15 games. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Watershed meeting to be held Wednesday
The Little Duck/Lilly Creek Watershed Project, in conjunction with the Madison County Soil & Water Conservation District, will hold a public meeting Wednesday at the Elwood Municipal Building from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
A virtual helicopter tour of each creek will be provided along with the chemical and biological assessments collected over the last two years.
The critical areas of concern and the appropriate conservation practices identified by the steering committee will be discussed.

Garden tour will be held
The Madison County Master Gardener Association will host its ninth annual garden tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Eight gardens will be featured.
Admission is $5 per person, and all proceeds go to the Madison County Master Gardener Association Scholarship Fund.

Summer bowling begins this week
Elwood YMCA, 1620 Main St., will have summer school bowling sessions from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and June 27-28. Cost is $25 per child and includes lunch each day.
Bowling will take place at Lucky Strike Lanes, which will be non-smoking during this time. Participants will receive a healthy lunch each day and a cosmic bowling party at the end of the program.
Payment must be made at the time of registration at the YMCA. Those participating will receive bowling instructions; if you need to miss a day you can bowl ahead of time, according to a press release.
