Yorktown issues boil order
The Yorktown Water Department has issued a boil order for the following areas: West Street — all residents on the west side of the street and all residents on the east side of Marsh Street.
All drinking or cooking water must be boiled at least five minutes. This order will remain in effect for the next 72 hours. Work has been required on the water main that supplies these areas and will be canceled as quickly as two good water supplies are tested, according to a news release from the town of Yorktown.
For questions call the Yorktown Utility Office at (765)) 759-8521 or the town manager’s office at (765) 759-4003.
