ANDERSON — The city will see a 5.8 percent average decrease in its wholesale electric rates, and city residents will receive a slightly smaller decrease in their rates beginning Jan. 1, according to a release from the Indiana Municipal Power Agency.
The decrease is due to IMPA increasing its ownership of generation assets next year and looking into energy efficiency and conservation programs for its members and their customers, according to a press release.
