Brian P. Wilhoit

Aug. 20, 1964 - Oct. 22, 2010

ANDERSON — Brian P. Wilhoit, 46, of Anderson, passed away Oct. 22, 2010, at Saint John’s Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 20, 1964, in Anderson.  

He had been employed at Anderson Tool and Engineering as manufacturing superintendant for more than 28 years.  

Brian graduated from Anderson High School in 1982 and then from Purdue University.

He was a member of the Veterans of Madison County, Chesterfield American Legion and the Alexandria Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Katie (Young) Wilhoit; stepdaughter, Heather (Steve) Hudson; mother, Ann Wilhoit; brother, Cliff (Vera) Wilhoit; sisters, Karen (Mike) Gustin, Gayle Johnson and Valerie (Bill) Spurlin; and nieces and nephews, Doug Wilhoit, Keith Wilhoit, John Wilhoit, Michelle Dillender, Joe Gustin, Nick Gustin, Katie Fesler, Jacob Payne, Billy Johnson and Elijah Spurlin. Also surviving are many friends.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Wilhoit; and a niece, Chrissy Payne.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, with Chris Wyatt and Father Robert Williams officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Madison County, P.O. Box 637, Anderson, IN 46015, in memory of Brian P. Wilhoit.
