ANDERSON, Ind. —
Terry D. Myers, 53, Anderson, passed away Dec. 13, 2011, at Saint John’s Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born May 22, 1958, in Anderson, and was a lifelong Anderson resident. He graduated in 1976 from Madison Heights High School. He was employed at Prairie Farms Dairy in Anderson for the past 18 years.
Terry was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 563 and Teamster Union. He loved open-wheel racing and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Anita Myers of Anderson; son, Elliott Myers of Anderson; parents, Jim and Esther Myers of Anderson; brothers, Gary (wife, Leslie) Myers of Orlando, Fla., and Larry (wife, Pam) Myers of Middletown; niece, Randi (husband, Chad) Barton; and nephews, Andrew Myers, Marc Palestina and Robbie Palestina; and close friends, Jeff and Andy.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kerry Myers.
The family wishes to thank the Prairie Farms Dairy family for all their generosity during Terry’s illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Father Edward Dhondt officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus or St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
