ANDERSON, Ind. —
Jacqueline F. Avery, 78, of Anderson, passed away February 6, 2012, at Community Northview Care Center after an extended illness.
She was born May 6, 1933, in Fairmount and lived there most of her life until moving to Anderson in 1985. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairmount Baptist Church.
She is survived by her nephew, Michael (wife, Nancy) Brown of Anderson; nieces, Terry Lynn Weaver of Pendleton and Sara (husband, Rob) Williams of Madison; great-nieces, Michelle, Wendy and Medina; great-nephews, Michael, David, Nathan, Joshua and Matthew; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Blanche Avery; sisters, Joretta Brown and Janice Gosnell; niece, Barbara Cross; and nephew, Gerry Horn.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home. Burial will be at Elwood Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
