ANDERSON, Ind. —
Ralph E. Carter, 84, of Anderson, passed away on March 2, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1928, in Anderson, and resided most of his life here.
He retired as a field representative for Guide Lamp Division of General Motors after 30 years of service.
Ralph served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia (Randy) Dollens; daughter, Teresa (Greg) Graham, Deana Moody; stepson, Tymothy (Shelby) Neathery; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two nieces and two nephews.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Geneva Carter; wife, Betty Carter; sister, Joella Hodge; and brother, Wilbur Carter.
Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Schwartz officiating. Cremation will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to Madison Park Church of God and Grace Baptist Church.
