ANDERSON, Ind. —
Robert Wayne Barritt, 30, of Anderson, passed away on March 1, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born on Jan. 17, 1983, in Tulsa, Okla., and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Robert graduated from Highland High School.
He was a Sous Chef at Scotty’s Lakehouse.
He loved raising his son, and enjoyed playing the electric guitar and collecting music.
Robert is survived by his son, Leeland Wayne Barritt; mother, Penny J. (fiancé, Danny Roberts) Stanley of Anderson; father, Barry Wayne Barritt of Tulsa, Okla.; grandparents, JoLynn Eller of Tulsa, Okla., and Phillip Barritt of Texas; uncles, William (Tami) Stanley and Donald Stanley; aunt, Bretta Barritt; godnieces and godnephews; several special cousins, and special friends, Clara, Craig, Marcus, Dustin (Paula), Michelle, Kelly, Bub, Bobby and Brandy; godsisters, Dewendelin Cain and Tessa Martin; and godmother, Dalma Martin.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert (Alice) Stanley; uncle, Benny Barritt; and special friend, James Turner.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Kent Stookey officiating. Cremation will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Robert Barritt for funeral expenses.
