ANDERSON, Ind. —
Willie Mae Collier, 80, of Anderson, passed away on Jan. 26, 2013, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Ind.
She was born on May 21, 1932, in Monterey, Tenn., moving to Anderson in 1965 from Nashville, Tenn.
She was a homemaker, and worked for Southern Manufacturing, Nashville, Tenn.
She was a member of Valley Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Anderson.
Willie is survived by her sons, Larry Majors and Terry W. (Patricia) Collier; grandchildren, Brandie Majors, Sarah Collier, Clyde J. Collier, Marc Collier and Jason Collier; great-grandchildren, Brandon Dobbs, Sierra Dobbs, Triston Washington, Monay Washington, Mozay Washington and Alexis Gilmer; and siblings, Allean Pilkerton, Mary Vaughn and Lonzo Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her parents, McKinley and Dora (Roberts) Phillips; and a brother, Eugene Phillips.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, Ind.
Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastors Joe Roysden and Bill Ledbetter officiating. Burial will take place at Pleasant Walk Cemetery, Anderson.
