ANDERSON, Ind. —
Margaret A. Grile, 76, of Anderson, passed away March 15, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 30, 1936, in Black Oak, Ark., and lived in Anderson most of her life. She retired in 1993 from Guide Lamp after 28 years.
Margaret was a member of Lindberg Road Church of Christ; Associates of Anderson Christian School and Bible Study Fellowship.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard Grile of Anderson; sons, Dean (wife, Tamra) Grile of Charleston, S.C., and Darren (wife, Susan) Grile of Anderson; daughter, Dana (husband, Steve) Cash of Anderson; grandchildren, Kristen Chapman, Brandon Grile, Karen Grile, Colleen Grile, Sierra Cash and Patrick Cash; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ola Hathcoat; and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Ron Smith officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Anderson Christian School.
