Desmond L. Harris Rogers

July 17, 1991 - Aug. 27, 2010

ANDERSON, Ind. — Desmond L. Harris Rogers, 19, of Anderson, passed away Aug. 27, 2010, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born July 17, 1991, in Anderson, and was a lifelong Anderson resident. He was self-employed.

He enjoyed skateboarding and being with his friends. He was an avid music enthusiast and was very proud of his Boy Scout achievements.

He is survived by his father, Paul Rogers of Anderson; mother, Stephanie Rogers of Anderson; paternal grandparents, Raemona Parkhurst of Anderson and Tommy and Sandy Rogers of Noblesville; paternal great-grandparents, Virginia Shreve of North Webster and Doris and Harvey Rogers of  Noblesville; maternal grandparents, Nancy (husband, Pete) Bianchi of Pennsylvania, William Morris of Indianapolis and Nancy Vernon of Marion; his beloved girlfriend, Brittany Fisher of Anderson; son, Brayden of Anderson; brothers and sisters, Jessica (husband, Sam) Coffin of Greenfield, Brandon Fisher of Anderson, Zoe Rogers of Florida and Damon Rogers of Anderson; aunts, Bonita Fanjoy of Maine and Lee Ann and Patrick Caldwell, Jeff Caldwell of Anderson; uncle, Hershel R. Harris of Anderson; and other friends and family including, Debby Scarbrough, Jimmy and Janie Fisher, Lindsay Fisher, Kamden Fisher, Natassia, Corry and Calyn Caldwell, Justin and Matthew Carter, Jewell Conlogue, Jayde Conlogue, Arianna Fanjoy, Nancy Greenhouse, Vincent Ford, Tasha and Louie, Shawn and Karen King, Thomas Caldwell and Abre Pell.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Howard Caldwell and Hershel L. Harris; and grandmother, Doris Morris.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with John Kreig officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
