SALINAS, Calif. —
Susan “Susie Q” Aynes, a former resident of Anderson, Ind., died at her home on Nov. 5, 2012, in Salinas, Calif., where she lived for the past 16 years.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed pet sitting, traveling and socializing with her friends.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 31 Ladies Auxiliary, Salinas, Calif. Susie lived and died on her own terms.
A special “thank you” is extended to VNA/Hospice of The Central Coast and especially to her loving companion, Robert Ortez of Salinas; also her friends, Vivian Lopez of Salinas and Janet Mattingly of Anderson.
Susie is survived by her sons, Brian Siefert of Tehachapi, Calif., and Thomas Siefert of Anderson, Ind. Also her special granddaughter, Taylor, of Fishers, Ind.
At Susie’s request, no services were held.
Arrangements were entrusted to Healey Mortuary and Crematory, Salinas, Calif.
