INGALLS, Ind. —
Wilma Fern Jackley, 99, of Ingalls and formerly of Frankton, passed away Sept. 1, 2010, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 5, 1911, to Edward and Grace (Erb) Stevens in Peru, Ind. Wilma married Hubert Jackley on Sept. 3, 1938, and he passed away on June 6, 1987.
She was a member of the Fortville United Methodist Church, Lafayette Township Home Ec Club and a past member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Anderson.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean (Dick) Birge of Ingalls, and Janis (Rick) Arnold of Bend, Ore.; two grandsons, Tim Sigler and Jay Sigler; two granddaughters, Marcia Hurst and Kimberly Newhouse,; stepgrandson, Duane Hurst; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Cody and Ben Sigler, Emilee Hurst, Nick Sigler, Lauralee Hurst, Elizabeth Sigler, and Colin Newhouse.
She was preceded in death by father, Edward Stevens; mother, Grace Stevens; and husband, Hubert Jackley.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harper and Dunnichay Funeral Home, Frankton, with the Rev. Karen Altergott of the Fortville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will take place in the K of P & IOOF Cemetery in Frankton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
