ANDERSON, Ind. —
Paul David “Paul Baby” Robertson, 71, of Anderson, passed away Sept. 4, 2010, at St. John’s Medical Center following an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 14, 1938, in Anderson, the son of Bruce Gilbert and Amy Frances (Hendren) Robertson, and was a lifelong Anderson resident.
He retired from Mineweld Company, after 20 years of service.
Paul was a member of Central Community Chapel and had played and sung with the Hoosier Hillbillies Band and the Jive Five Band. He had also worked as a mechanic.
Survivors include his sister, Ruth Green of Burkesville, Ky.; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Wayne Johnson of Newport, Ark.; sister and brother-in-law and best friend, Martha C. and Donald E. Simpson of Madison, Ind.; and nieces and nephews, David Green, Terry Green, Sharon Cope, Diana Roberson, Dwayne Johnson, David Johnson, Darryl Johnson, Deborah Lowhorn, Amy Simpson, Darryl Simpson, Gary Lee Simpson, George Simpson, Michael Robertson, Josh Stone, Don Robertson, Mark Robertson, James O’Bryant and Tandy O’Bryant.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rita O’Bryant; brothers, Donald, Phillip and Steve Robertson; nephews, Matthew and Stephen Robertson; and nieces, Paula Robertson and Alita Case.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, officiated by the Rev. Richard Gregg. Burial will take place at Pleasant Walk Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
