CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Donald Ray Tabor, 74, passed away Dec. 22, 2009.
Don was born July 22, 1935, in Anderson, Ind., the son of Elbert and Thelma Tabor. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Don was a man of great intelligence. He was an inventor and a builder. He owned a commercial roofing business, Sunset Engineered Systems in Hixson, Tenn. Don was responsible for many innovations in the roofing and automotive industries. Don had a passion for engineering and sharing his experiences and knowledge with friends and family. He enjoyed being outdoors, boating, traveling and spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his adoring wife, Teresa and children, Marcus Fuller, Mary Fuller, Kristin Fuller, and granddaughter, Rachael Fuller and an extended family of five children, Marty, Donny, Candy, Lynette and D. Gale Tabor.
