ANDERSON — Barbara Ann “Bobbie” (Baldwin) Cogswell, 80, Anderson, passed away Dec. 27, 2009, at Community Northview, Anderson, after an extended illness.

She was born Oct. 1, 1929, in Noblesville, and resided in Anderson since 1996.

Barbara retired from the meat department of Village Market in Zionsville after 20 years of service.

She was a member of Kirkland Order of Eastern Star 534.

She is survived by her son, Terry (Sue) Cogswell of Alexandria; brother, Glen Michael (JoAnn) Baldwin; two grandchildren, Anissa (Mitch) Deckard and Heather (Brent) Cox; two stepgrandchildren, Ryan Goodin and Robin Page; and four great-grandchildren, Kylie and Kara Deckard and Noah and Olivia Cox.

The family would like to thank the staff at Community Northview and Southern Care Hospice Program for all their care.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. “Chub” Cogswell who passed away in 1994; parents, Glen O. and Mary Anne (Poetrey) Baldwin; and sister and brother-in-law, Lavallia and Glen Fleetwood.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at East Maplewood Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Huff officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, Anderson.
