The Herald Bulletin
Today is Sunday and it’s 6:45 a.m. We are all having a blast here in Beijing, and especially in the village. They have so much things for us athletes to do if we are bored or anything. It’s awesome, they have an arcade that is really close to our building that has a bunch of games in it. Some teammates and I have been down at the arcade the past two days for at least an hour and a half. It is a lot of fun!
Everything in the village is amazing. The landscaping alone is really cool. When I look out my bedroom window, I see a huge pond with fountains and flowers. It is really pretty! Everyone here has been over the top nice and helpful too. Even though security is real tight getting in to the village, it is well worth it. The dining hall where all the athletes around the world eat is HUGE! There is so much different food you can choose from. They have Asian food, American food, Italian and way more. They even have a 24/7 McDonalds! But I have managed to stay away from that and plan on staying away from it haha! But everything is really going smoothly here and I am so excited for the competitions to begin! I am on my way to my first practice today in the watercube!!
