Obama has been re-elected. And, now the price of gasoline is headed back up to $4 per gallon (and beyond). Obama has been re-elected. And every time I go to the grocery store, it costs me at least $100, even if I can carry them into the house in one trip.
Obama has been re-elected. And now all those evil, rich people are paying higher taxes. I guess if you have a job, you must be rich because every working man and woman in the USA had their tax rate raised by 2 percent on Jan. 1.
Obama has been re-elected. Now, every woman can have a choice. They can have a choice if they want an abortion, or not, after being raped. They just won’t have a choice if they want to be able to protect themselves from rape with a gun, or not. (But, then, they do have a choice; Uncle Joe tells them that a doubled-barreled 12-guage shotgun at home is all the protection they will ever need.)
Obama has been re-elected. Expect a crisis every six to 12 months. That’s Chicago politics. As Chicago mayor (and former Obama adviser) Rahm Emanuel has said, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” That’s the way Obama’s first term was run, so expect four more years of the same.
Obama has been re-elected. Now, look for us to find our proper place in the international scene; not as a world leader, but as an equal; as just one of the group. We may lose a few more embassies and another ambassador or two, as we work out the rough spots, but I guess that’s the price of progress.
Obama has been re-elected. So, for all you people who didn’t really agree with him, but just couldn’t see yourselves voting for a rich, successful business man, because you didn’t think he could connect with you or understand your problems, at least now you know what you’re going to be getting for the next four years.
