Parental Controls program for Web Surfing

Learn to filter, block unsuitable content

Pendleton News

PENDLETON — South Madison Community School Corporation will have a new community education class for adults specifically designed to teach parents how to filter and block unsuitable information from a home computer.

For a class fee of $25, you will learn how to block any type of Web site at any time. This system will work on computers running Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista or Mac OS 9 or OS X. Attending this course will allow one to have complete control of the web; best of all there is no additional cost involved for software.

Class will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday in the Pendleton Elementary Primary School. Call SMCSC Superintendent’s Office at 778-2152 to register.
