Library begins winter program

NEW CASTLE — It’s cold. It’s snowy. It’s winter. What better time to stop by the library to stock up on reading material? New Castle-Henry County Public Library is encouraging patrons to “Wrap Up with a Good Book” during the Winter Reading program. Winter reading runs through Feb. 28.

Adults and teens can register at the main service desk and will receive a sign up reward and a book review slip. Read some books, turn in reviews, and be entered to win one of several warm blankets in a March 1 drawing. Registration is limited to 150.

Children can sign up in the Children’s Library and receive a “Bingo Card,” which they can have stamped each time they come into the library. When the card is full, the child can pick out a free book. Registration is  limited to the first 150 children.
