Good’s ice cream sale on July 15
ANDERSON — Community Hospital Anderson’s Auxiliary will host a Good’s ice cream sale on Wednesday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. near the outpatient entrance, in front of the hospital. The ice cream will cost $3 per scoop, with $1 going toward the Auxiliary.
The sale is open to the public and benefits the many charitable sponsorships of the Auxiliary. For more information, call 298-5100.
‘Change is Coming’ camp coming
ANDERSON — Dates for the “Change is Coming” theatre camp have been set at the Paramount Theatre where campers will learn about vocal performance, choreography and stage craft.
All campers will perform July 31 featuring the song “Change is Coming” by PM, a recording artist based in Nashville, Tenn. The cost is $125 and limited scholarships are available.
Camp dates are: July 7-9, July 13-15 and July 20-22, ages 5-11, from 9 a.m. to noon and ages 12-18 from 1-4 p.m. Registration begins 30 minutes before class on the first day. Rehearsal will be held the week of July 27. For information, call 642-1234.
Informational meeting Thursday
ANDERSON — An informational meeting for this year’s Corporate Challenge will be held at noon Thursday in the Mulberry room at the Anderson Family YMCA, 28 W. 12th St.
The Anderson Family YMCA will host the annual event during the month of September. Events include golf, bowling, basketball, volleyball, softball, running, canoeing, mini-triathlon, tennis, swimming and more.

Pancake breakfast served Saturday
CHESTERFIELD — A pancakes and sausage breakfast will be served from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Millcreek Civic Center on Indiana 32.
The breakfast is being sponsored by the Chesterfield Optimist Club.
Farmers Market begins July 11
ANDERSON — New Horizons United Methodist Church will have its farmers market again this summer beginning Saturday, July 11, through Labor Day.
The market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday at the church lawn at 611 E 53rd St.

RibFest returns to Muncie
MUNCIE — RibFest 2009 returns to the streets of downtown Muncie on Saturday, Aug. 1, from noon to 10 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Applications are being accepted for food vendors as well as arts, crafts or community information booths, music and entertainment.
