Chicken noodles dinner set for Eagles
LAPEL — The Lapel Eagles 4323 will host a chicken noodles dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The cost is $7 (children under 5 eat free). Entertainment will be provided by DJ Dr. Feelgood at 8 p.m.
Bring in canned goods for Lapel Community Food Bank and receive free dessert.
Minnetrista holding farmers market
MUNCIE — Farmers Market at Minnetrista will continue during the winter months starting Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon in the Orchard Shop parking lot.
Farmers Market will continue December through April on the third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon. These special winter dates will be held inside Minnetrista.

Be a kid again at Pendleton festival
PENDLETON — Come and “toss a snowball” across State Street at the Christmas in Pendleton downtown festival on Saturday. Shopping begins at 9 a.m. and carriage rides, sponsored by the Pendleton Chamber of Commerce, will be available starting at 10 a.m. for $5.
The Snowball Toss and Parade, sponsored by Citizens State Bank, will be held at 12:45 p.m., and the Santa House, sponsored by First Merchants Bank, will open at 2 p.m.

Owens speaker at Thursday meeting
ANDERSON — Grief counselor Connie Owens will present a program titled “Forever Changed” at 7 p.m. Thursday for the Bereavement Support Ministry that meets monthly at Bethany Christian Church, 1920 N. Rangeline Road.

ANDERSON — Colonial United Methodist Church, 538 E. 31st St., will serve a spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday.
The price for the fundraiser meal is $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 4 to 12.
